Finally, the new website of Quantum Engineering Design Course (QEDC) have been launched. The QEDC is a special program of Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University. The purpose of this program is to equip a new generation of young scientists with fundamental knowledge and cutting-edge research skills in the fast-developing field of science and engineering. This program provides students with up-to-date and world-class research techniques to realize quantum engineering and design in response to global, technological and environmental issues. Excellent learning opportunities and research undertakings in any of (but not limited to) the following core divisions are offered:

• Creation of the mathematical method’s frontier
• Elucidation of the material function formation mechanism
• Realization of new generation functional materials

Each student will be assigned to one of the core divisions above according to his/her research theme. The program encompasses both Master and Doctor Course. Students are expected to enroll in both courses sequentially to obtain both master’s and doctoral degrees.
